Constitution & Bylaws are under final review. Thank you all for the many donations and support you have provided to make this organization possible. End of year reports are coming in the next few weeks.
In your Service,
Edward W. Hood
Special thanks to DAV Florida Chapter #5 for leading the December 2025 meeting.
Hi, Team,
The Legal Clinic Thursday at American Legion Sauls Bridges Post 13 again included our volunteer Team of 18, including 6 attorneys, & this week worked with 15 Veterans and family walking in; Veterans volunteered with set up, intakes, etc. even though their court-ordered community service requirements have already been completed (Khalid, Leonard, Gregory).

Veterans Treatment Court celebrated an inspiring Graduation Ceremony November 24, recognizing 11 successful Graduates! Congratulations, Shane Blodgett, Gregory Howard and David Gerourd, TVLC volunteers who were among the graduates (see photos). Visitors who did attend to witness the ceremony expressed appreciation for the opportunity. Former Vet Ct Judge Augustus Aikens returned to the Courtroom that day to deliver the keynote address to the Graduates, whose participation had extended from his jurisdiction to current Vet Ct Judge Lashawn Riggins. (also pictured above).
Don’t miss the next LEON VETERANS COURT session: December 8, 3 PM in the downtown Courthouse, Courtroom 2E. Please consider coming to observe/ maybe becoming a Veteran Mentor for the Vets working their way through the program and recovery.
Sincere thanks to the Tallahassee Civic Chorale for partnering with TVLC this year, including the October Poker Run and next Tuesday’s (Dec 9) Holiday Concert “Our Favorite Things” at Tallahassee State College’s Turner Auditorium (7:30 pm).
And to Christ Presbyterian Church for selecting TVLC to be among the area nonprofit groups to be featured at Saturday’s Christmas Market, where we tabled.
Donations to TVLC from the events above and ongoing supporters are helping Veterans successfully reinstate their Driver’s Licenses, sometimes after years of being unable to lawfully drive. The donations also provide gas for the weekly Food Delivery trips to Quincy for the various Veteran housing facilities around the region.
What else?
